NviroTek Laboratories boasts a proven track record of more than 12 years and is guided by the vision to be the preferred laboratory partner in the Agri and food industry. As an independent and accredited testing laboratory group, the Group’s foci include chemistry, microbiology, hygiene monitoring, chromatography, and biological analyses.

The Group has a national geographical footprint, with SANAS accredited testing facilities in the Northwest and the Western-Cape provinces. Both laboratories also actively take part in the proficiency test schemes co-ordinated by AgriLASA (Agri- Laboratory Association of Southern Africa).

Under the auspices of the Senwes Group of companies, NviroTek will continue to expand its sphere of impact by maintaining service delivery of world-class quality that speak to international standards.

The Group’s testing hub in Hartbeespoort recently saw the addition of a nematode as well as a chromatography division. The latter focuses on an extensive suite of residue (MRL) testing on produce for the export and local markets.

On 1 August 2018, NviroTek acquired 100% of the shares in Wynland Laboratoriums (Pty) Ltd in Wellington. This independent laboratory was established more than a decade ago and focuses on accredited microbiological and hygiene testing services for the food-processing industries. Other analysis includes chemical evaluation of water and plants. The testing capability was recently expanded after the incorporation of the feed testing capacity of Quantum Laboratories, which was based in Malmesbury.

“Our clients and partners can rest assure; NviroTek Laboratories’ service offering, and value systems remain intact after the merger of the two Agri-companies. In fact, the merger has afforded us the opportunity to expand our service reach and by doing so, enabling us to continue to provide trustworthy data to assist clients in making informed agricultural and food production decisions,” says Dailena Pienaar, Managing Director of NviroTek Laboratories.

She adds that the strategy of NviroTek remains unchanged: to foster long-term relations with a broad base of customers throughout Southern Africa, as well as the brand promise of cultivating trust by means of sustainable analytical support.
